Brief History and Info

Renford was born in Bristol in 1949 in the county of Avon. At the age of sixteen he was selected as one of five candidates to sit entrance to Bristol South Arts College.

Artistic ability was a major asset to Renford, and visual artwork for customers played a vital part to the success of his career. Finally this lead to a directorship in specific design for a Major Bristol based company.

Following ill health in 1985 it became impossible for Rendford to continue this occupation. It was at this time that his attentions returned to improving his ability as a watercolour artist and photographer. To this day it has been his sole occupation, enjoying successful summer seasons showing and selling his work throughout Dorset.

Since 2005, Renford's son Keston has played a vital role within this business and is now he sole proprietor of Renford Studio.

As a professional photographer in his own right, Keston is now responsible for all aspects of image capture, printing, framing and day to day running of Renford Studio. Keston is pleased to display his own work and continues to display his fathers work also.

As for Renford, now retired, is probably sitting in the sun somewhere.
